Jack's association with The Monitoring Group started in 1999 when, as the co-founder and managing editor of the Chinese community website dimsum.co.uk, he supported a number of Min Quan's campaigns and projects. In The Monitoring Group, Jack is responsible for developing the organisation's arts strategy and managing its arts programme.

Before coming to The Monitoring Group, Jack was a trainee solicitor and had completed an MA in Social Justice at the Institute of Education and a BA in Ceramics at University of Westminster. He is currently studying at the Royal College of Art and has a keen interest in political art.
